Closing a casino account should be straightforward. At Crown Green you can do it in four steps from inside your account, with no need to negotiate with retention. This page explains your options, the difference between a temporary cool off and a permanent self exclusion, and what happens to your data after closure.
Cool off versus self exclusion
A cool off period locks the account for between 24 hours and 30 days, after which it reopens automatically. Self exclusion is longer, between six months and a permanent ban, and cannot be reversed early. Both prevent new deposits and gameplay during the active period. Pending withdrawals continue to be processed.
Permanent closure
Permanent closure removes access to the account and unsubscribes you from all marketing. Your transaction history is retained for the period required by anti money laundering law, typically five to seven years, after which it is deleted. KYC documents are deleted as soon as legally permitted.
Withdrawing your balance first
Cash out any remaining real money balance before requesting closure. Pending bonuses are forfeited on closure and cannot be reinstated. If you have a self exclusion in place at another operator on the same network, that exclusion is honoured here automatically.
